Saraswati temple is a temple was built around 1955 by I Gusti Nyoman Lempad commissioned by the Prince of Ubud, in honor of Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, education and art in hindu. The Pura Taman Saraswati temple is located on a large lotus pond. In the evening usually they held bali classical dance show in front of the Saraswati temple.
*) You can see the difference of Lotus garden after and before cleaned up.

There is no direct public transport to get there.
*) For backpacker i recommend you to rent a scooter to reach this temple and use google map as your navigator.

There are two cafe in the area of Saraswati temple.
*) I think this cafe offering different view since the other cafe facing the ubud busy street or live music.

The classical balinese dance evening show start on 7.30 AM. The ticket price is IDR 80k – 100K per pax. It’s in open staging.

*) It was nice watching the bali classical dance show in the evening and it surrounded by lotus garden and the open air staging. The music and the dance also so attractive. It was unforgettable memories in Ubud in the evening.
