DAY 1 (1st Day) – North of Ubud Itinerary

WHAT ATTRACTION (DESTINATIONS) ON NORTH OF UBUD ITINERARY?

DESTINATION:

  • Tegalalang rice terrace
  • Gunung Kawi Sebatu temple
  • Tirta Empul temple (water temple)
  • Gunung Kawi Tampaksiring temple

HOW MUCH IS THE ENTRANCE FEE?

ENTRANCE FEE:

  • Tegalalang rice terrace = Donation.
  • Gunung Kawi Sebatu temple = IDR 15K.
  • Tirta Empul temple = IDR 15K.
  • Gunung Kawi Tampaksiring = IDR 15K.

TOTAL ENTRANCE FEE:
IDR 45K per person.

UPDATE ENTRANCE FEE:

  • Tegalalang rice terrace = IDR 10K.
  • Gunung Kawi Sebatu temple = IDR 30K.
  • Tirta Empul temple = IDR 50K.
  • Gunung Kawi Tampaksiring = IDR 15K.

UPDATE TOTAL ENTRANCE FEE:
IDR 105K per person.

*) Not include your meals or your drinks.
**) Not include parking fee for car or scooter or your transport on the site.
***) You can check the entrance fee for the whole sights & attractions in Bali. So, you can calculate the budget that you will spend it while you in Bali.

HOW IS THE DETAIL ITINERARY?

ITINERARY:

Here the detail Itinerary for 1st day:
8.00 AM : Departing to Tegalalang rice terrace from Ubud.
08.30 – 10.00 : Visiting Tegalalang rice terrace and explore the rice terrace.
10.00 – 10.30 : Trip from Tegalalang Rice Terrace to Gunung Kawi Sebatu temple.
10.30 – 11.30 : Visit and chill out in Gunung Kawi Sebatu temple.
11.30 – 12.00 : Trip to Warung De Koi.
12.00 – 13.30 : Lunch at Warung De Koi with the rice terrace and fish pond view.
13.30 – 14.00 : Trip to Tirta Empul temple.
14.00 – 15.30 : Visit Tirta Empul temple and bathing.
15.30 – 15.45 : Trip to Gunung Kawi Tampaksiring temple.
15.45 – 17.00 : Explore Gunung Kawi Tampaksiring temple.
17.00 – 18.00 : Trip to hotel in Ubud area.
18.00 – 19.00 : Take shower and relax.
19.00 – 20.00 : Dinner.

*) If you stay in Ubud, you can start traveling on 9 or 10 AM. Even i had one time start on 11 AM from Ubud and i still can visited all those places in one day. But, you have to do short quick activity. This itinerary is very effective & efficient.

DAY 1 – NORTH OF UBUD ITINERARY ROAD MAP:

WHY BACKPACKER SHOULD CHOOSE THIS ITINERARY?

MAINSTREAM TOURISM SITE
You are going to visit the Mainstream tourism place such as TEGALALANG RICE TERRACE, TIRTA EMPUL TEMPLE. The most visited sight in BALI.

UNMAINSTREAM TOURISM SITE
You gonna visit the peaceful unmainstream tourism place such as GUNUNG KAWI SEBATU TEMPLE & GUNUNG KAWI TAMPAKSIRING TEMPLE.

CHEAP
The entry ticket is very cheap.
The entrance fee not more than USD $3 per destination.

TIME MANAGED
The time is managed very well.
So, it’s feasible to do in one day tour.

EFFICIENT TRIP
It’s near to each other and it’s one way.
So, it will be efficient & effective trip. Not rush trip.

*) Stay in Ubud is a wise choice if you want to take this itinerary.  Those sights are in the north of Ubud.

ALAS HARUM COFFEE TESTING

*) Before arrive Tegalalang, you can add or visit Alas Harum luwak coffee for free testing coffee & tea variants.
**) Lunch at Warung De Koi is expensive for local (me) actually. But, it has nice view and fresh foods.

***) For backpacker you can get lunch at Bubuh Bali Pak Item restaurant with the local price for sure. It has nice rice field view but the taste of the foods a little bit spicy. You can find the exact location on Google map.

      I forget to update the entrance fee in Bali itineraries.
      But, in every single post/article i already updated it actually.
